Flajax.com was founded in 2004 by husband and wife team of Andrew Bachmann and Maria Mediavilla. We moved to Jacksonville in 1992 and started postcard collecting soon upon arriving in town. The postcards took us on an adventure ride through Jacksonville history.  Discovering a building's history and past uses of that property fascinated us. How a particular landscape changed from decade to decade captured our interest. We collected more and more postcards, and soon our quest was to obtain as many different postcards as we could of our new hometown. Our collection grew, and our desire to share these wonderful postcard views now has turned our hobby into a business. FLAJAX is a company that promotes and loves Jacksonville.
